Arlind presented his first daylighting paper at the IBPSA BuildSim Nordic 2022 conference. In this paper, computational design methods for sunlight, daylight, and view quality are introduced. These are shown and applied to three different real-world case studies in the Nordics. The paper advances the methods described in EN 17037 (the European Daylight Standard); it introduces, arguably for the first time, digital methods that calculate and categorize results based on the three performance levels (insuffcient, low/sufficient, medium, high) in EN 71037.
