Grattacortina (Courtscraper) Proposal for the future of Italian cities, a context which is largely built and consolidated. Most of the existing building stock is considered heritage and in some cases protected by national or regional laws for city centers or special architectural value.
How we can sustain growth and development for the future in Italy? Some of the concepts of it are: Promenade Architecturale on the top floor of the Urban Hybrid, Elevators connecting existing buildings with the New, services, mixed use and flexibility.
Grattacortina has all the concepts and benefits of "Groundscrapers" since it consumes less land, integrates services, housing and a variety of services to the community and public.
Proud to have designed this concept which has environmental, social and economical aspects considered, rather than just aesthetical purposes like many groundscrapers today.
